Per chi vuole passare una vacanza in armonia con la mente e con il fisico. Per chi desidara ogni comforts. Per chi vuole uscire dall'albergo con gli sci ai piedi. Per chi vuol fare attività alternative con il massimo relax. Per chi vuole rilassarsi senza far nulla ma trovando intorno a sè di tutto e di più per stare bene. San Vigilio was the last stop of our late autumn vacation that included a journey through most of Croatia, and my husband and I both agree that San Vigilio was the highlight of our trip. English is not widely spoken here which only adds to its unique charm. By all accounts the Excelsior is the premier resort in the village. Our room and bathroom were big and spotless with a panoramic view of the valley. Our package comprised the 3/4 board and we were never disappointed with our meals - one was consistently different from the next and always delicious. The desserts are to die for. Dining room service was efficient though lacking in warmth and conversation, but was more than offset by the quality, variety and creativeness of the food offerings. The resort owner Werner Call visited every table at dinnertime for a short chat and directed us to some of the most breath-taking hikes through the Dolomites at the nearby nature reserve. As a caution to visitors from North America, the sauna and steam room are co-ed and everyone is required to disenrobe, though you may cover up with a towel (most guests don't). Quando di ha la fortuna di essere ospitati in un hotel che supera la perfezione quale l'Excelsior, l'unica nota negativa è ....la malinconia con cui lo si lascia il giorno della partenza pensando a quanto l'indomani tutto ciò vi mancherà
